Measurement instructions
Measure windows correctly for Roman blind installation
in the window niche
1. Measure width
Measure the width B of the window niche in the upper area. Remove 5 mm per side so that the Roman blind does not later drag on the walls of the window recess.
Before ordering your custom-made Roman blind, it is important that you measure carefully and accurately so that the Roman blind ultimately fits the window perfectly.
2. Measure height
There should be at least 200 mm of space above the window so that the Roman blind can be pulled up properly and the window can still be opened.
To ensure that your Roman blind does not drag and that you can open the window easily, measure the height A of your window and then add 200 mm for the package height X.< br>
The sum B results in the recommended order height, and the exact package height that you can accept is shown to you in the configurator. It is generally recommended to choose a generous dimension for the package height
.
A Window height = Is the area that should be covered by the Roman blind.
B Order height = From the highest point of the assembled system to the desired unrolling length.
X Pay attention to the package height. Package height = system technology + raised Roman blind fabric. This is approx. 170 mm - 200 mm.
Important instructions: Depth of the window niche
A The niche must be high enough so that the window can still be opened after the Roman blind has been installed, even if the Roman blind fabric is completely pulled up.
B The depth of the window niche is also important. This should provide enough space for the entire system, i.e. the support profile with retaining clips. The dimensions of the support profile can be found in the model description in the configurator
3. Enter dimensions in the configurator
Enter the dimensions determined in this way into the configurator. Please make sure that the dimensions a) are entered in millimeters..
