Measurement instructions
Measure windows correctly for Roman blind installation
on the window sash
Important instructions!
To measure as accurately as possible, it is best to use a metal measuring tape. When measuring, make sure to put it straight.
The assembly of this model is only suitable for plastic windows.
1. Measure width
First, measure the distance between the glazing beads - from inside edge to inside edge.
a) Top view
The system width corresponds to the width of the glazing bead + 5 cm (Overhang on both sides: 2,5 cm)
Important NOTE: Measure width!
A Make sure there is at least a) 0,5 cm distance from the window handle and other obstacles.
B Please note that the clamp supports are b) 20 mm wide. This width is already included in the intended overhang of 2,5 cm per side to ensure that the clamp supports do not protrude into the window surface.
2. Measure height
To determine the order height of your Roman blind, measure the height of the window sash from its top edge to its bottom edge.
Important NOTE: Fabric deduction!
Important NOTE! The width ordered is the total width of the system. Due to production reasons, the material is 20 mm narrower per side than the system width.
A System width
B Fabric width
C - 20 mm on both sides
3. Enter dimensions in the configurator
Enter the dimensions determined in this way into the configurator. Please make sure that the dimensions a) are entered in millimeters.
